Have you ever found a yarn you just wanted to drape yourself in? This pattern was designed to showcase those special fingering yarns and their beautiful colors. This project works wonderfully with hand painted, tonal or solid yarns!

This shawl is worked flat with a simple repeating pattern and an easy to remember lace running along the straight edge of the shawl. The edges of the shawl are bordered in garter stitch giving the project an elegant textured look and the wide edge of the shawl has an optional lacy edge. Its asymmetrical design means no casting on hundreds of stitches to start! This pattern is geared towards beginner knitters and beyond.

This pattern is easy and fun to knit and is very easy to remember! Great for taking along with you or some good ol’ mindless knitting!
