Dew On the Vine Cowl
Cables and Lace and Beads; Oh My!
When I received this skein of Mink yarn from Red Barn Yarns, I just knew it needed to be around my neck and I wanted a pattern that was just as special as the yarn itself. That’s where the Dew On the Vine cowl was born.
Yardage and beads are for the size I knit. If you would like a taller cowl, you’ll need eight additional beads for each repeat and of course more yardage.
Beads are optional. Instructions for changes to the chart are in the pattern if you choose to not use beads.
I used 26 of 50 grams for this cowl. If you leave out a repeat, you could possibly get two cowls out of one 50 gram skein. Good to know if you’re making cowls as holiday gifts.
I used Red Barn Yarns Mink for this pattern but it would be just as lovely in Malabrigo Lace or another light fingering/heavy lace that has some bloom to it.
