Dewy Ocean
INFO
The subtle rhythms and harmonies of this shawl are inspired by both a new colorway and an eternal part of nature.
’Oceaan,’ a hand-dyed yarn named after me, is a silvery, misty hue that suggests a seascape in the early morning.
The pattern itself starts with an abstraction of the sky and horizon that widens into a sweep of undulating waves at the bottom.
Dewy Ocean has an asymmetrical shape and is worked flat from the right tip to the left edge. The cable section starts at the widest point of the shawl near the end. The pattern is fully written out with stitch counts and the cable section is also charted.
