“Deysy’s Dream” is a 24” x 64” wrap that can be easily made larger into a 36” x 64” or larger throw.

The original pattern, ‘Deysy’s Dream’, was created to honor and support 9-year-old Deysy (pronounced Daisy) Castillo in her battle against cancer. Deysy was diagnosed with stomach cancer and malignant tumors in her throat and lungs. This sweet little girl has been undergoing treatments and has been responding relatively well but she still has a big fight ahead of her.

Deysy and other children like her are why we do what we do at Wing and a Prayer Crochet & More. As with all our patterns, all proceeds from pattern sales goes to Texas Children’s Hospital for childhood cancer research.
