The Crochet Dhikr Shawl is a long parallelogram-shaped shawl or wrap.

The Crochet Dhikr Cowl is worked up as a strip which is then seamed with crocheted stitches to form a loop.

Both shawl and cowl have been designed for the mini from each day of the 30 Day Ramadan Wool Club and 10 Day Ramadan Wool Club, respectively.

This mini skein club was a wonderful collaboration in honour of the holy month of Ramadan. You can also use your own yarn scraps and minis and it would look equally beautiful crocheted in one colour.

The shawl and cowl have been designed to have stitch counts of multiples of 33 as often, Muslims say words of remembrance of God in multiples of 33. The design was intended to aid Muslim crocheters to incorporate mindful practices of worship into their craft.
