This shawl was created for a collaboration with lalaine_emoi, sheep breeder at the Chevreroche farm in the Vosges ( french mountain).
Diabolo Menthe was therefore made to use its wool, natural and swelling. It can be knitted in fingering wool (437 yards; 400 meters/100 gr) which will give it suppleness and lightness, or in sport (328 yards; 300 meters/100 gr) for more softness and warmth. The wool of Chevreroche is in between.
Combining simple stitches (stockinette, garter, ribs) with some easy to learn techniques (short rows, I-cord), it will be perfect to occupy your winter evenings.
For the needs of the pattern, the photos were made on a prototype in wool spun hand.

WOOL CC1 (Color 1): lalaine_emoi, limousine/clun forest, colorway tinamous, 175 yards; 160 meters/50 gr, 85 gr so 328 yards; 300 meters. CC2 (Color 2): lalaine_emoi, limousine/clun forest, colorway calliste, 361 yards; 330 meters/100 gr, 85 gr so 328 yards; 300 meters. With sport wool, you will need between 130 and 150 gr of each color. This shawl can also be made of fingering wool (437 yards; 400 meters/ 100 gr), however the size will be affected. For fingering, 1 skein of each color.

MATERIAL US#6; 4mm (59 inches; 150 cm long) circular needles.

Ce châle a été créé pour une collaboration avec lalaine_emoi, éleveuse de moutons à la ferme de Chevreroche dans les Vosges.
Diabolo Menthe a donc été réalisé pour utiliser ses laines, naturelles et gonflantes.
Il peut être tricoté en laine fingering (400 m/100 g) ce qui lui donnera souplesse et légèreté, ou en sport (300 m/100 g) pour plus de moelleux et de chaleur.
La laine de Chevreroche est entre les deux.
Alliant des points simples (jersey, mousse, côtes) avec quelques techniques faciles à apprendre (rangs raccourcis, Icord), il sera parfait pour occuper vos soirées hivernales.

Avec une laine sport, il vous faudra entre 130 et 150 g de chaque couleur.
Pour un fil fingering, 1 écheveau de chaque couleur sera nécessaire.
