This stich is worked in the diagonal. This pattern makes a square shape with the ribbing going diagonally across it. You start by making the bottom left corner and increase every row until you reach the desired size you want. Then you will decrease every row and finish the square in the top right corner. This stich is good for making washcloths, baby blankets, afghans to even king sized blankets. It can be worked with any weight yarn with the recommended hook size. This stitch looks good in variegated yarns and plain yarns.
