DIAGONAL Dishcloths and Kitchen Towel

This is an oldie but goodie :)

Several years ago, we stopped buying comercial sponges at home with the aim of reducing the amount of plastic we consume and take care of the planet (I’m preparing an article about it in my blog). So, as you can imagine, this pattern is my most used one to make sponge sized dishcloths!

• printer-friendly version: with the basic instructions so you can print it out saving paper and ink.

Skill level: Beginner / Easy (you need to know one basic decrease: ssk OR k2tog) // Techniques used: knit, yarn over, k2tog OR ssk // US and Metric sizing and dimensions

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Sponge dishcloth: Length: 6.25’’ (15.5 cm). Width: 4.25’’ (10.5 cm).
• Square dishcloth: Length / Width: approx. 8’’ (20 cm).
• Kitchen towel: Length: 19.5’’ (50 cm). Width: 13.75’’ (35 cm).
