This project is quick to knit and uses just 4 ounces of Worsted Weight yarn.

The model shown in the pictures and on the video is hand spun of 100% merino wool from Mary Jane’s Attic (maryjanesattic.net). It is Navajo plied.

MATERIALS
4 oz Worsted Weight yarn

Size 6 4mm knitting needles (I used Double pointed needles due to the small scale of the project, use 2 for the main project and a third if joining with 3 needle bind off)
Size F 3.50mm crochet hook (if joining ends by 3 needle bind off with 2 needles and 1 crochet hook, see my video )
Yarn Needle (if joining ends by Kitcheners stitch or by sewing)
Non-slip rug underlay or similar material that grips both the finished steering wheel cover and the steering wheel
Waste yarn (if casting on by crochet chain)
