The Diagonal Granite Stitch Dishcloth is a simple pattern, easy enough for a confident beginner. It is crocheted from corner to corner, increasing for the first half of the square and decreasing for the second half. This dishcloth has just enough stretch, and is designed for actually washing dishes, not just for decoration. They also make great face cloths!

The dishcloth as written is 8” (20 cm) square. It is very easy to make a larger or smaller version.
