This baby blanket is very cute and unique because it is crocheted in the diagonal. This pattern looks great with variegated yarn, like in the example, or with a solid color or even stripes. The pattern itself creates its own lovely border so you do not have to crochet one when you are done. For the pictured example I used Caron Simply Soft Ombre Yarn and a size J crochet hook. This blanket is approximately 25 x 25 inches.
