This pattern starts with ribbing at the bottom edge, and changes to a simple 2 round diagonal lace pattern for the body of the hat. Lace patterning ends when top shaping begins, for easier knitting.
Recommended needle sizes: 16” circular, size 6 ( for ribbing ); 16” circular, size 8 ( for body ); double pointed needles, size 8 ( for top shaping ).
