Very easy pattern for a chic open sided vest! The vest is worked in 2 identical pieces (front & back) from the bottom up. It is the same width from the bottom all the way up then you will be binding off stitches at the top to make the turtleneck. Only a 4 inch seam will be sewed along the sides by the waist area & the rest of the vest will be left opened. The directions are written for 10 widths (14” to 28” across). The length is 17 inches for all sizes but you can make it shorter or longer if you wish. If you are comfortable following a written pattern this is a great pattern for a beginner!
