DIAGONAL SQUARE BLANKET - is a very simple pattern to make a perfectly square, reversible, garter stitch blanket in any desired size, using any yarn. It is knit seamless, all in one piece construction on the diagonal from the bottom corner to the top corner. It has a lovely eyelet border to frame the blanket. I used one ball of the suggested yarn to increase the blanket and the second ball to decrease the blanket. All in all, it turned out to be a 34 x 34 inch blanket unblocked. The perfect size for a baby or lapghan. There is no limit on the size you can make. The yarn suggested creates a very thick, warm, squishy, soft, cozy fabric. It is a very quick and easy beginner friendly project to knit. It is a great project to use up all your leftover yarns on. Use a single strand or multiple strands of yarn held together to create different effects. Be creative and have fun making different sizes, colours and fabrics.
