The beauty of this crochet baby blanket is that the stripes are DIAGONAL. We will also make a heart applique for the corner - and you can also make a lot of heart appliques for your other projects - especially for Valentine Day! And you can make it any size you want - from nighttable dolly to afghan or even a bedspread.
You will need:
Yarn medium to worsted weight (#3 or #4) approximately 960 yards (900 meters for a blanket size 26 x 26 in or67 x 67 cm) in baby pink and white and just a bit of red for the Heart applique
Crochet hook 5 mm (H-8) or the size recommended for your yarn
*** Tapestry needle to sew the applique on.
