Dialysis patients are often cold during treatment but must keep their arm exposed-this sleeve will cover them from the elbow down and help keep them warm. I made this for my grandma and she loved hers so much I wanted to share as I had trouble finding patterns.

This is a good pattern for stash busting as it uses less than a full skein for one sleeve-I made a matching pair from less than one skein of Impeccable Loops & Threads. You will need size 5 and 8 needles.

I recommend measuring your recipient if possible, though because of the ribbing on both ends this will fit most people. If the pattern is followed exactly and gauge is met, the finished dimensions are:
Upper cuff 10 inches circumference unstretched
Lower cuff 7.5 inches circumference unstretched at bottom edge, 8.75 inches unstretched at upper edge before stockinette section
Total length 13.25

Gauge is not super critical if you are able to have your recipient try on as you go, but I do suggest a swatch anyway so you know how many stitches to cast on.
