The final size of DIAMOND will depend on the combination of yarn weight and hook size that you are using.

For example, if the yarn you are using is heavier than recommended for a 2.5 mm hook (or if you are using a bigger hook), DIAMOND will turn out to be bigger; otherwise, it will be
smaller.

You should always use a yarn weight that can be easily crocheted using a 2.5 mm hook. In that case, DIAMOND will measure 7 cm (2.75 inches) high approximately.
