Very detailed instructions including step-by-step pictures to loom knit a baby blanket. No confusing abbreviations are used and no special pattern knowledge is needed. This pattern is for any loomer who knows the basics. Casting on, U-wrap knit, purl, and binding off are the only skills necessary. In addition to the written instructions, a chart is included to follow along. Visual learners may find the chart is all that is needed without using the instructions.

Variations are included to produce slightly different results that range from 24” x 24” to 32” x 32”. This is also a great size to use as a pet blanket for a dog or cat bed.

The pattern is written for any large gauge loom with at least 95 pegs using #4 worsted weight yarn or #5 bulky weight yarn. Specific yarn used in the photos are listed in the pattern.
