CROCHET PATTERN: A diamond textured beanie with unique puff detail on the ribbing. This hat pattern requires under 220 yards of worsted weight yarn and includes instructions for both a messy bun style beanie as well as a closed beanie style. The pattern is worked in an unconventional method with the crown worked in rounds and then the body worked in rows. This allows for a unique vertical stripe effect if using a self-striping yarn. 

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate 

SIZES: Adult sizes S/M & M/L

SMALL/MEDIUM: 18.8” in circumference and 9” in height.
MEDIUM/LARGE: 20.9” in circumference and 9.5” in height.
For best fit, choose a size approximately 2”/5cm smaller than head circumference.

HOOK: 4.5mm crochet hook (or hook sizes that achieves correct gauge).

YARN: Approximately 180-215 yards of worsted weight (#4) yarn.

GAUGE: 15.5 stitches & 15.5 rows = 4”/10cm in single crochet.
