This garment came about in an unusual way. I have also designed a similar cape for teenagers and adults. The kind lady who is test knitting it for me said I needed to change some of the wording to be better understood. So, I did, and then needed to “test” it myself before turning it back over to the test knitter. And ended up with a lovely cape for the American Girl Doll, or any 18-iinch doll.

This is a very quick knit, and a very easy to memorize lace design. It took me about 10 hours to make.
