The front bands on this seamless, top-down sweater are knit on after the body is completed. Directions are give for making 5 buttonholes but some samples were made with just 3 buttonholes and that works well too.

The Diamond Pattern on the lower body continues around the back of the sweater and the easy crossed stitches of the pattern do not require a cable needle to do.
