This poncho pattern is worked from the top down, in fingering weight or a light DK weight yarn, increasing in four equal sections as you go. This is a very adjustable pattern. as long as you keep your stitch calculations in check you can make this garment as big or as small as you’d like. You’ll be needing just the basics as far as notions are concerned for this pattern. 16 stitch markers (to keep track of your increases and the brocade pattern.), 600-700 yds of your favorite yarn in fingering or light DK weight. Also, 2 skeins of contrasting colors for the diamond colorwork section. You will also be using size US-3 circular needles in 60in and 30in lengths.
