This versatile little square makes a beautiful blanket with a pleasant diamond pattern. It looks great in a variety of yarns and colors, and the squares work up quickly with only five rounds to crochet! The simple elegant border can be used with whatever size blanket you choose to make.

Pattern is written for 16-squares making a nice little preemie or newborn blanket. Try 20 squares for a rectangular stroller or nap size, or 36 for toddler or throw size…. The motifs work up quickly and join easily to make whatever size or shape you want!

Finished Sizes:

• Motif in Worsted/Medium weight yarn makes about a 6-inch square, finished 16-motif blanket about 25-inch square, finished 36-motif blanket about 37-inch square.
