Diamond Filet Overblouse
“The Diamond Filet Overblouse is done in a lacy openwork design, has set-in sleeves.”
This overblouse is meant to be worn over a camisole or other top. It is done primarily in simple filet mesh, with a pattern of diamonds done in cluster stitches. The sleeves are elbow-length, and there is a narrow, unobtrusive notched shirt-style collar. The collar, sleeve edges, and bottom hem are done in the same cluster stitch as the diamonds, and there is waist shaping. The original was done in cream-colored crochet cotton.
