Marlene Miller’s Diamond Haiku is of a moderate difficulty rating (3/5). The shrug fits a range of sizes and has a shaped at the back, and based on knit and purl stitches. Following the pattern, the approximate dimensions of the finished piece will be:

130cm wide when lain flat
80cm in height from edge to edge (neck to tailbone)
50cm around armholes ending in 20cm around wristband

The diamond pattern is approximately 12cm wide. This design runs down the back of the garment but can be excluded if desired. The shrug can also be lengthened somewhat as pattern only requires approx 2 1/2 hanks.
