This pattern has two PDFs available, one for working in the round and the other for working flat.

The Diamond Hat is the perfect introduction to stranded colourwork with a simple repetitive design provided in both charted and written format.

Knit from the brim upwards you have the option of working a single layer brim or a longer folded version. The colourwork is repeated up the hat before crown decreases are worked before the crown is closed.

Knit in the round in stocking stitch using stranded colourwork; 22 stitches by 28 rows over 10cm / 4 inches.

Any 8ply / DK weight yarn that you can achieve gauge with. The contrast colour is the total amount required for both colours.
