Diamond illusion is made using the overlay mosaic crochet technique.

It is crocheted from the center out, which means no ends to weave in or hide with a double border.

You can choose to make several smaller squares and join them together for a big blanket, or you can make a continuous square blanket any size you want.

The technique itself is very simple, and mainly consists of dc’s and sc’s.

The pattern comes with a full photo tutorial on the technique itself, and full written instructions and charts (both full chart and print charts) for the blanket, so you can choose the method that suits you best.

Suggested yarn
1 x Cotton king sultan deluxe
3 x Hobbii twister solid.

Any yarn can be used for this blanket. If you use a different yarn or hook size, the finished size will vary, but the proportions will stay the same.
