Diamond Jacket is a soft cardigan with a simple and refined cable pattern, worked in a slightly thicker but very light yarn. The cardigan is worked from the top down. First the back section of the yoke is worked, then stitches are picked up along the shoulders and the front sections of the yoke is worked down from there. The back and fronts are joined at the bottom of the armholes and the body is worked back and forth across all these stitches to the hem. After this, the neck edge is worked and finally stitches are picked up and knitted along the armholes and the sleeves are worked down from there in the round.
