“The afghan is worked in cotton, alternating a lace pattern stitch with an eyelet pattern. The eyelets are woven with satin ribbon; the solid diamonds have a daisy stitch embroidered in each centre. The unique point edging is an unraveled fringe; the fringe is actually knit into the edging and then unraveled to create a finished effect.”

Gauge: 45 sts = 8 1/2 inches over diamond lace pattern.

Pattern also requires 80 yards of purple ribbon approx 1/4 inch wide.
