This is my third pattern, and I hope that you like it. If you have any questions, suggestions, or other comments, feel free to email me at delightfulflorence@gmail.com.

This pattern follows a 48 row repeat consisting of right side rows of lace knitting, and wrong side rows of purls. It is not the best project for knitters who have never tried lace before.

Finished Measurements
Width: 9 inches
Length: 66-74 inch loop
To make scarf wider or narrower you can use larger or smaller yarn or needles. To make scarf longer or shorter, simply knit until you are happy with the length. Be sure that your cowl is able to wrapped nicely around your neck.

Materials
-A fair amount of yarn, probably at least 400 yards, of any kind you desire, but make sure it isn’t too bulky. The yarn I used was mystery yarn from Goodwill, but is dk weight.
-You will also need two needles, either straight, or double pointed. Or, you can use a long circular needle, which is how mine was made. No matter what you decide to use, you will need one extra needle in the same or similar size for the bind off. I used size US 6 for my scarf.

Gauge
6 stitches/4 rows = 1 inch, approximately. Find a gauge that works for you.

Pattern Notes
-This scarf is knit in one piece with the ends joined together using the 3-needle bind off at the end. If there is another method you prefer, you may of course use it instead.
-The scarf tend to roll in a bit at the edges.
