Diamond Lace Shrug
From the description: Shrug meets shawl in a garment designed to fit any body type. Rather than hug-me-tight as most shrugs do, this modern take on a classic bed jacket has the loose drape of a shawl across the back. It is worked cuff to cuff in one piece for ease in shaping but it’ll keep you thinking while you knit.
Finished garment measurements:
- Length from cuff to cuff: 144 (149, 154) cm / 56.5 (58.5, 60.5)“
- Width at centre back (not including edging) 44 (45, 47)cm / 17.25 (17.75, 18.5)“.
Notes: Keeping track of number of rows worked is required. Row markers are used throughout this pattern to mark the end of the sleeve increases, total sleeve length, armhole shaping and centre back to aid in row counting and measuring when knitting the second half of the garment.
Skills sets: reading charts, sewing up laceweight yarn, challenging stitches in the lace edging including working multiple stitches together through back loop and working multiple increases into a single stitch.
