These messy buns are really popular right now for all ages although my pattern is for an adult female head approximately 21” to 22” in circumference there are measurements and suggestions included for smaller hats just not the actual pattern. Although I’ve tried to write out the pattern as clearly as possible I’m not sure it would be considered a beginner pattern with the overlapping stitches but I am always willing to answer any questions.

Materials needed for this pattern are worsted weight yarn and a J hook.
It is written in standard US terms.
