obscura: adjective
dark, secret; vague, obscure

I created this with the idea the design would be somewhat obscure; something to be seen fleetingly; a pleasant surprise. (But, if you’d like it much more clearly defined, it can be made using a single color and the diamonds will be much more noticeable.)

It is crocheted using a cabled Tunisian crochet hook creating the diamond using just two stitches. The pattern is easy to follow and, once learned, can easily done without referring to the pattern.

The size may be any size you choose to make it. Gauge is not important as you can easily measure as you go.
