Diamond quilt socks

This is a toe up sock knitted with a reverse french heel and a slip stitch diamond pattern.
I made this design with self-striping yarns in mind but the effect of the overlapping colors will depend on the yarn. You are more likely to get the overlapping effect if you use a yarn with thin stripes.
With the yarn suggested, some parts have overlapping colors and others don’t.
This pattern would also look lovely with a single color yarn.
