This is a rectangular pattern using the Harlequin stitch which I learned from the Daisy Farm Crafts article on this stitch.

https://daisyfarmcrafts.com/crochet-harlequin-stitch/

If you do not know how to make this stich then be sure to go to their website and follow the video tutorial. It will make this pattern so much easier.

I used Yarn and Colors 100% cotton yarn in Lilac and Premier Yarns Home cotton in Blueberry Speckle. 1 skein of each. The Blueberry Speckle is only used on one row, so you do not need much.
Both yarns are very soft and easy to work with. I highly recommend you use a cotton yarn as you will want to wash it and cotton is very durable.

Stitch Notes: stitches in parentheses are to be completed all in the same stitch ()
