This is an original filet crochet pattern for my diamond table runner. It’s easy to follow instructions appropriate for even beginners of filet crochet, written in English using American crochet terminology. The entire project uses only two types of stitches: chain and double-crochet.

Upon purchase, you will be provided with a PDF file of the pattern instructions, along with a separate PDF of the filet chart. Written instructions walk you through the first five rows, stitch by stitch, to accustom you to the chart and how to translate the chart boxes into stitches. By row 6 (or sooner) you won’t even need the written instructions and can complete the project just from the filet chart.

Using size 10 thread and a 2.75mm hook, the final project measures 12 inches across by 53 inches long. But, the pattern is easy to customize to any length desired.
