Diamondback
Drawing inspiration from the western diamondback rattlesnake, this headband includes a variety of textures for a fun project and an eye-catching look. The design incorporates a cabled diamond filled with seed stitch that is repeated along the length of the band. The edges are completed using columns of slipped and knitted stitches, for a tidy effect. Worked in either a super bulky weight yarn (or 3 strands held together to achieve a super bulky equivalent), this headband knits up quick and is a great introduction to cables for beginning knitters. The finished headband is 5” wide for good coverage of the ears and a modern look. Celebrate an intimidating animal with a totally approachable knitting project :)
