Diamonds and pearls is a simple, triangular shawl which is worked sideways. It consists of alternating segments of garter stitch and a beautiful diamond lace. The pattern is written for two sizes, the small one is perfect for that wonderful skein of fingering weight yarn that has been waiting for the perfect project, and I’ve knit up the bigger one in one skein of multicolored sock yarn paired with a semi solid. However, the pattern is very adaptable and it’s easy to make as big or as small as you want.
