This shawl is ideal for a cool summer evening as it’s made using either cotton and acrylic yarn or a pure cotton yarn.
The blue and white shawl was made using Hobbii cotton kings 8/4 cones which don’t appear on their list of yarns. The pink and grey shawl uses the Hobbii Twister and Twister Solid. The shawl has lots of lovely texture and will appeal to anyone who wants a less open and lacy design. This is a 26 row repeating pattern but it is easy to memorise whilst giving plenty of interest. The diamond sections are made using Bobble stitch and the ripple sections are made using Alpine stitch. I have included a link on the pattern to a You Tube tutorial for the Alpine stitch.
