About
Like most of us, I’ve been missing human connection during this time. I started remembering those friendship bracelets my sister and I made when we were children, and I thought a grown-up version might be just the thing to reach out and let loved ones know they’re in my thoughts. So here it is: a quick knit to keep me connected and grounded, practical enough to use up those last bits of fingering weight yarn, but fanciful enough to still be a diamond bracelet with a little bit of sparkle.
Construction
DAGBFB is a beaded lace cuff knit flat that uses pre-strung and placed beads. This sounds (and looks!) a lot more complicated than it is. If you’re new to lacework or beading, this is actually a pretty good starter piece. The pattern contains a resource section to help develop your skills in these areas. The sizing tip section gives advice on adjustments for a better fit. The pattern contains both written and charted instructions.
