Diamonds for Mother
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This elann pattern will be retired at the end of February 2021 - No pattern support will be available going forward.
Diamonds for Mother, a tribute to mothers everywhere, is a lace rectangle knitted in one piece lengthwise. Worked up in any of the three yarns listed below, it is a wonderful scarf or stole. Knit in 100% cotton, it also makes a beautiful table runner. I chose red, as a symbol of happiness and luck, to honor my own mother this Mother’s Day. The diamonds motif pattern is from The Haapsalu Shawl: A Knitted Lace Tradition from Estonia, page 154.
