The gauge is not essential to this design as long as you knit with similar yarn thickness.

Diamonds in the Sky is desinged by Mia Falk, Knitbag, and Elisabeth Magnusson, Tant Thea, and made for the weekly magazine Allers in feb 2016.
Mia and I, Elisabeth, have done some designs together for the magazine earlier and presented our idea as something new in shawl design.

We had decided to think outside the “begin in the neck” theme and made some brainstorming before we decided to go for a diamond. We draw the big lines and Mia were responsible for the center inner part (diamond) and I was responsible for the wings and the lace edging. Some testing and retestings were done before we were finished with the design.

The diamond is the center part of the back, and the wings with their structure are the sky.
