Diams
Diams is an oversized cropped cardigan that is both casual and feminine, and a great layering piece. Its unusual construction and nice finishing touches make for a relaxing yet interesting knitting experience.
Randomly sized and placed motifs evoke some kind of abstract garden.

CONSTRUCTION
The right sleeve is worked in the round with an i-cord border, then continued flat with different shaping methods to form the right upper body. Center back stitches are put on hold while the left sleeve and upper body are worked symmetrically. The two pieces are joined by grafting the center back stitches.
Stitches are picked up along the upper fronts and back and the lower body is worked downward with gathers and decorative motifs, ending with an i-cord bind-off.
An i-cord border is added to the front edges and the back neckline.
