The finishing is where most of my testers had problems. There are four seams to sew: The two sleeve seams, the center back of the sleeves, the center back of the skirt section and then the one attaching the sleeves and the skirt section to one another. This creates an oddly shaped garment when placed flat. The whole garment looks like a terrible mistake – a circle with the sleeve section in the center of the circle when placed flat.

Don’t worry, that is correct. You then pick it up with the seamed portion of the skirt as the bottom edge and flip back the top part of the circle as the collar. It will look recognizable after that.
