This is a basic diaper for a soft-bodied baby doll; because Addy (my technical assistant and marketing director, age 4) says every baby needs one. It is knit in one piece and the sides fasten in the front with velcro, or you can do as I did for my 2-year old and just stitch the corners to the front. You can’t make just one; if your child thinks their doll needs a diaper that same child is going to think they need a spare. I also made a small ‘wipe’ with scrap yarn which was a big hit.
