When playing tabletop games we often experience occasions when our dice just don’t roll well. Whether it’s missing an attack, not rolling high enough to make a skill check or, gods forbid, rolling a natural one on a saving throw (which leads to your character’s death, no I’m not mad).
Some players like to punish or shame their dice when events like those happen. Or simply set them aside and roll a different set. I designed a special place for them instead. Simply throw the criminal rolling dice in jail! Not only does this serve as a handy place to separate your bad rollers from your good ones, but it really lightens the mood with a good laugh as well.
This pattern will knit up into a small, flat-bottom bowl. If your gauge and tension are correct the bowl will have enough stiffness to stand up on its own. If you have any trouble, switch to a smaller needle size.

Easy beginner colorwork. A small, quick project that makes wonderful gifts!
