Last year I wanted to create a super easy and very fast gift knitting pattern for all of you, who need to get something done last minute. It had to be one of those no-brainers regarding size, kinda small and not expensive… so I believed there is nothing better than a cowl. Still, it had to look cool and a bit impressive, chic if you like, and not too crafty! Something for non-knitters. So, I designed the Sexy Berlin Cowl.
This year I thought some of your gifters might prefer a scarf and the whole set-up of the cowl is already so perfect that I can transform it into this shape.
I still want you to look like the best friend or family member on this planet. So go, dress or knit to impress!

Construction
This unisex scarf is knit flat from one short side to the other.
Fringes are added as a final touch.
It‘s as easy as it can get with only knits & purls that create
the awesome three-dimensional mistake rib stitch.

Size 165 x 19 cm | 65 x 7.5 in

Needles one set of 55 cm | 22 in circular needles in size 10 mm (US 15)

Notions tapestry needle, crochet hook

Gauge 10 sts x 14 rows = 10 cm (4 in)
in pattern stitch, worked flat, measured after blocking

Yardage 144 – 176 m | 158 – 192 yd
