Inspired by Marvel Cinematic Universe: these arm-warmers are an homage to Thor’s vambraces (forearm-guards); as seen in The Avengers (2012), which takes place after Loki’s apparent death at the end of the earlier film Thor (2011). The carvings (which are a stylised depiction of Loki’s horned helmet) were added to Thor’s originally plain vambraces as a silent tribute to his lost brother. The name of this design was taken from a line in The Avengers dialogue where Thor reunites with his brother and angrily confronts him about the deception: “I thought you dead!” Loki’s sarcastic response: “Did you mourn?”

These arm-warmers are fully lined and the motif is duplicate-stitched.
