Digger hat, crochet hat not only for boys and girls
You can’t get past any construction site without stopping? Because your child has to watch the excavators at work so enthusiastically?
I feel the same way. My son raves about diggers / excavators and all the big machines and vehicles. I had to give in to the urge and crochet him a digger hat. This pattern is the result.

This hat is crocheted upwards from the cuff. For the digger / excavator pattern, a combination of Fair Isle and Intarsia is used. There are links to tutorials for: Fair Isle and Intarsia.
And good news: The hat can be completed quickly, as you only need dc, hdc and post stitches.

Bagger Mütze, Häkelmütze nicht nur für Jungs und Mädchen
Du kommst an keiner Baustelle vorbei ohne stehen zu bleiben? Weil dein Kind so begeistert den Baggern bei ihr Arbeit zuschauen muss?
Mir geht es genau so. Mein Sohn schwärmt für Bagger und alle großen Maschinen und Fahrzeuge. Ich musste dem Drang nachgeben und ihm eine Baggermütze häkeln. Daraus entstanden ist diese Anleitung.

Diese Mütze wird vom Bündchen aus nach oben gehäkelt. Für das Baggermuster verwendet man eine Kombination von Fair Isle und Intarsia. Fair Isle und Intarsia werden als Fototutorial in der Anleitung erklärt.
Und eine gute Neuigkeit: Die Mütze ist schnell fertigzustellen, da man nur Stäbchen, halbe Stäbchen und Reliefmaschen braucht.
