Dilly Dill Tam
“Dilly” means something that is remarkable, wonderful, or outstanding. The herb dill certainly fits the bill for being a remarkable and wonderful herb to use in culinary pursuits. It pairs well with a variety of vegetable dishes and can be used dry or fresh. In ancient times dill was a symbol of wealth and good fortune.
A close fitting brim allows this tam to hug closely to the head. Some beautiful slipped stitches give some pronounced unexpected texture to the brim before breaking into a feathery lacey body. The body is quite generous and allows for some beautiful slouch to the tam.
